HAN SAM LAI

Han Sam has more than 5 years of experience as a professional coach and trainer. She specializes in personal effectiveness, career transitions, leadership development and team growth.

Before joining Emerge, Han Sam ran a boutique coaching practice which she started, after transitioning from an illustrious 20-year career in a Nasdaq-listed multinational Healthcare IT company. She has wide ranging experience leading high performing teams and coaching associates in sales, marketing, operations, support and client management. These are valuable skills she brings to the coaching and consulting process.

As one of coaches for Emerge’s signature Leadership Development program, Performance Enablement Programme (PEP), Han Sam coaches C-Suite Executives around personal effectiveness, leadership and team development. Her unique coaching approach allows her clients to do deep work in the co-creation process of making lasting changes and accelerated performance.

Han Sam served on the ICF Singapore board for 4 years and was most recently the Immediate Past President in 2019.

Han Sam lives in Singapore with her husband and 4 teenagers, her hands full between her personal life and work. Her challenges of being a wife, mother and a full-time worker stretch her balancing skills and her decision to live a purposeful life. She volunteers in a marriage support group with her husband in reaching for more in a fulfilling marriage. Sam is an avid reader, gamer, baker, cook, dead lifter and jazz lover.
